New Delhi: The suspect arrested in the murder of Indian singer Sidhu Moosewala escaped from police custody.
The accused Deepak Tinu is one of the close associates of the alleged gangster Lawrence Bishnoi involved in the murder of the singer.
Indian media has claimed from police sources that Tinu Deepak has escaped from the custody of the Mansa Police Crime Investigation Agency.
The Punjab Police brought the accused to Delhi from Tihar Jail on 4th of July on transit remand.
Famous singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala was murdered near his home in May this year.
So far, 30 people who belong to Bishnoi group have been identified on the charge of murder, while 24 people have been arrested so far in the case of murder.
