Dubai: Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament organized by Asian Cricket Council has started in United Arab Emirates. This will be the 15th edition of the Asia Cup, the opening match of the tournament was played between the Group B teams of Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
The match between the teams of traditional rivals Pakistan and India will be played in Dubai on Sunday. Earlier Asia Cup has been played in ODI format, this is the first time that Asia Cup will be played in T20 format. The matches of the tournament will be played from 27th August to 11th September 2022 in the United Arab Emirates as a limited-overs format T20 International. , the final match will be played on September 11 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
