Los Angeles: The American film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ has set a record by doing more than one billion dollars in two weeks.
Directed by James Cameron, the film has become the fastest grossing film of 2022 with record business.
Earlier, two American films ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ were able to cross the one billion dollar mark in 2022.
Historically, only six Hollywood movies have managed to earn a billion dollars in the first two weeks of their release, while in 2021, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ achieved this milestone in just 12 days.
The first part of the movie ‘Avatar’ was released in 2009 and was declared as the highest grossing film of all time with a gross of $2.97 billion.
