The Muslim world has expressed extreme indignation over the visit of the Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Bin Guwer to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gower has made a provocative visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy security.
According to the news agency, the Israeli minister walked around the Al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy security, with no indication that the Israeli minister had prayed during the visit.
It should be noted that Itamar Ben Gweir announced his visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque a few days ago, upon which the leader of the Israeli opposition and former Prime Minister Yair Lapid warned that the visit of Itamar Ben Gweir could provoke violence.
Itamar Bin Guer was sworn in as the Minister of National Security of the new government headed by Netanyahu last week.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the extremist Israeli minister’s visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that the Israeli minister’s visit to the Al-Aqsa Mosque is an extraordinary provocation and a dangerous escalation of the conflict.
Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Jordan have also strongly condemned the Israeli minister’s violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that it is deeply concerned about the provocative action of the Israeli minister.
