Washington: The spokesperson of the American National Security Council says that the Russians are helping Ukraine against aggression and will continue to do so.
According to foreign media, US missiles were fired at the military training center in the occupied Ukrainian city of Mikivka in Russia yesterday, as a result of which 89 Russian soldiers were killed.
In the statement released by the White House on this incident, it has been said that the US has no hand in the military deaths.
According to media reports, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby has said that Ukraine is retaliating in self-defense while Russia’s accusation of using US weapons on a Russian military base is baseless.
John Kirby added that the Russians are helping Ukraine against aggression and will continue to do so, Ukraine was attacked by Russia and Russia is responsible for its losses.
According to media reports, in his statement, John Kirby refused to reveal the actual number of Russian soldiers killed in the missile attack.
