On the Guinness World Records page, detailing Peebles, it is written that Peebles used to live with a couple living in the US state of South Carolina, who died of natural causes after reaching their age.
Details further state that Peebles was born on March 28, 2000 and was just 5 months away from celebrating his 23rd birthday. The dog’s owner attributed its longevity to the love and care given to it.
