Bharti Gujrat: Rahul Koli, the child artist of Oscar-nominated Gujarati film ‘Chheelo Show’, died at the age of 15.
According to Indian media reports, Rahul Koli, who played a key role in the Gujarati film Cheilo Show (The Last Show), representing India at the Oscars next year, has died of cancer.
Rahul was 10 years old and he was one of the six child actors who are seen in the lead roles in the film.
The film is India’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards.
According to reports, the late child artiste was admitted to the hospital after suffering from repeated bouts of fever and vomiting of blood, his father told him that Rahul’s film was about to release and he decided to watch the film in theaters on October 14. But he died before the movie hit the big screen.
Rahul’s father Ramu Koli has told the Indian website that on October 2, Rahul had breakfast and after some time he got fever. Rahul vomited blood thrice and after that my child died, our family was destroyed.
