WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Twitter has launched a legal battle against Elon Musk over its withdrawal from a 44 billion dollar deal, according to foreign news agency Social Media Platform. He has approached the court against the decision.
Twitter has filed a petition in a local court in Delaware, USA, ordering Elon Musk to be ordered to complete the deal for 54 per share, in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, signed a deal to buy Twitter in April this year, but later withdrew, saying Twitter had failed to provide information on the number of fake accounts.
