Kyiv/Moscow: 25 civilians were killed and many others injured as a result of aerial bombardment by Russia on Ukraine’s Independence Day.
According to international news agencies, the Russian Ministry of Defense, while confirming the air operation, said that our forces were surrounded by a railway station in the eastern region of Ukraine and were facing retreat, on the basis of which the operation was carried out. The Russian Defense Minister has said that 200 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the missile attack.
Ukraine, on the other hand, claimed that 25 civilians were killed in a Russian airstrike on our Independence Day. In a media briefing, the Minister of Ukraine said that Russia attacked with the Iskander missile in an airstrike. A close friend of the Ukrainian president said the attack was carried out at the railway station, killing passengers waiting for their ride there.
