Geneva: On the occasion of the meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council, there was a strong protest against human rights violations in India.
On the sidelines of the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva, human rights organizations and civil society protested India’s open violations of human rights and interference in neighboring countries’ affairs.
The protesters said that India is interfering in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. The protesters carried posters and placards with anti-India slogans. Anti-India slogans were also shouted.
The protesters demanded the United Nations to play a role in stopping India’s human rights violations and interference in neighboring countries’ affairs.
