US stock markets a sharp bearish trend

Washington: US stock markets are down for the third day in a row and the second week due to rising interest rates and fears of recession.

According to foreign media, this week the Dow Jones fell 1.66 percent, the S&P 2.09 and the Nasdaq 2.72 percent.

American economists have predicted that the interest rate will continue to rise and will remain until the end of next year.

US bank Goldman Sachs has planned to lay off thousands of employees and cut bonuses as the economic situation worsens.
