Washington: 2 people were killed and 3 others injured as a result of shooting in the northwest area of Washington DC.
According to details, police were called to reports of a shooting at North Capitol and O Streets, Northwest. Officers found two gunshot victims who were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other injured persons have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, police said. His condition is not known. All victims are reported to be adults.
A preliminary investigation revealed that at least two suspects got out of a “small, black SUV” in front of a building and began firing semi-automatic weapons at people on the street before fleeing.
