Paris: A man in France has set a world record by walking almost 2 kilometers on the High Line.
Nathan Paulin, who made headlines in 2017 by walking a distance of more than half a kilometer on a wire between Trocadero Square and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, set a new record by walking 2.20 kilometers on a wire at Mont Saint-Michel.
Pauline’s tightrope walk was filmed by a camera company called Insta360 and later posted on YouTube.
Pauline said in a news release issued by Insta360 that the feeling of walking on the High Line for so long is almost impossible to describe.
“Sometimes when they do this, they feel very powerful and sometimes they feel very small,” he said. Being able to do this makes them feel liberated.
It should be noted that Mont St. Michael has been declared a cultural heritage by UNESCO.
